So for our IPW project, we went to Marina Barrage. Yup, I know it's one of the many cliche places in Singapore that people would go for an outing. But it's fun still. Ever saw about 10 kites in the sky at once? Yup, that's the place to go.☺
The Marina Barrage is a dam in Singapore built across the mouth of the bay, between Marina East and Marina South. It was officially opened on 1 November 2008. It was Singapore's fifteenth reservoir...The idea was first started nearly 20 years ago, when the then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew envisioned damming the Marina Channel to create a freshwater reservoir. And so created Marina Barrage.
